“The AIPP board oversees the Town of Vail’s Art in Public Places Program and is responsible for: ongoing maintenance of existing public art pieces; administering temporary art displays on public property; arranging for temporary art exhibits; assisting developers and encouraging them to integrate public art within developments; coordinating artist selections when public art is incorporated into the town. The intent of the AIPP program is to assemble a collection of works of art in public places which is educational, attractive to residents and visitors, and of an overall aesthetic quality equal to the excellent international reputation the Town enjoys as a resort.”
